The Mana Salad — Full Power NO Boost

A functional whole-food protocol for nitric oxide elevation and erectile vitality. Every ingredient earns its place — this is plant medicine on a plate.

INGREDIENTS
* 7.1 oz fresh arugula (rocket)
* 5 1/4 oz fresh watermelon, cubed (white rind included)
* 1 3/8 oz pomegranate seeds
* 1.1 oz raw walnuts, roughly broken
* 1/2 oz dark chocolate (85%+), shaved
* 1/3 oz fresh ginger, finely grated
* 2 raw garlic cloves, minced
* 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
* 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
* 1 tsp raw honey
* 1 pinch sea salt and black pepper

STEPS
1. Whisk together 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1/3 oz fresh ginger, finely grated, 2 raw garlic cloves, minced, 1 tsp raw honey, and 1 pinch sea salt and black pepper in a small bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes — this allows the garlic and ginger to bloom into the oil and activates allicin conversion.
2. Place 7.1 oz fresh arugula (rocket) in a large bowl. Pour half the dressing over and toss well, massaging lightly so the leaves begin to soften slightly and absorb the lemon and oil.
3. Scatter 5 1/4 oz fresh watermelon, cubed (white rind included) and 1 3/8 oz pomegranate seeds over the dressed arugula. Add 1.1 oz raw walnuts, roughly broken. Drizzle remaining dressing over the top.
4. Shave 1/2 oz dark chocolate (85%+), shaved directly over the salad just before eating. Eat slowly and chew thoroughly — this is not a side dish, this is the protocol. The chewing and saliva contact is doing active work.

 

NOTES


Why this works:

🌿 Arugula — highest dietary nitrate of any common leaf. Nitrate → nitrite → nitric oxide via oral bacteria during chewing. Eat without mouthwash for full effect.

🍉 Watermelon — rich in L-citrulline (especially the white rind), which converts to L-arginine → NO. A second independent NO pathway running simultaneously.

🍑 Pomegranate — antioxidants protect NO from oxidative breakdown and independently upregulate eNOS. One of the most researched foods for erectile and cardiovascular function.

🫚 Olive oil — oleocanthal supports endothelial health and helps absorb fat-soluble plant compounds.
